"‘Treasures passed down from our ancestors’, these kakahu represent the treasure that is mahi whatu, and the treasure that are our tamariki. The weaver hopes that these kakahu will foster a sense of belonging for the māori whanau at Fernridge, and also a sense of pride in Te Āo Māori for all of the Fernridge community."
